This adult team will travel to Santo Domingo where we will join the Fundacion Yabonico team helping with clinics, children’s feeding programs, sorting donations, packing school supplies, visiting schools, building relationships in community centers, schools, and local churches, and helping in any way we are needed.

TRIP PHYSICALITY
Level 2 – Moderate. Expectation: Moderate walking, sometimes on uneven terrain, work projects, and hot & humid climate (although this is the best time in the year to visit DR!).
TRAVEL TIME
2-1/2 hour flight time each way.
REQUIREMENTS
- 18+ years old.
- Completion of Growth Track classes at least 3 months before departure
- Attendance at mandatory preparation meetings leading up to trip
- Background checks
- Passport with at least 6 months validity past return date (returning October 2nd so passport must be valid until at least April 3, 2027)
- Interest does not automatically reserve a spot on the team. All interested will be contacted to review requirements and advised of the registration link and deadlines. Registrations will be reviewed and the team leader will contact participants with next steps.
TRIP COSTS
Airfare, ground transportation, food, accommodations, and emergency group insurance are included in the cost of the trip.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Trip interruption insurance is not provided, but you may purchase a separate policy. Should you unexpectedly be unable to go on the trip for any reason prior to the trip departure or must return home early, you may want to consider purchasing this insurance. Passport application, photographs, or renewal fees, not included. Incidental expenses such as souvenirs and personal need purchases, not included.
